I stumbled on a wonderful video showing Dan Shauger, a Mike Austin disciple, interviewing John Anselmo, who coached Tiger from the age of 10 up until he went to Stanford.
Anselmo helped Tiger develop his foundation. Watch:
Anselmo knew Mike Austin well, and the two played golf together. Judging by Tiger Woods’ swing from 1993 when he was 17 and still under Anselmo’s tutelage, Mike Austin probably had some influence on his teachings, and therefore on Tiger’s as well.
