Lesson 56 – Optimizing Distance: A Complex Puzzle

There are so many factors that go into optimizing your driving distance.  Before Trackman we could really only guess.  But now with this great technology and readily adjustable club heads (and shafts), good players can really start nailing it on the head.

I know I have reached the 300 barrier with only 106.5 mph of speed, which is about as efficient as can be had.  A more inefficient swing and driver setup, however, might require 10 more mph to reach that pinnacle.

It takes a good balance of angle of attack, launch angle, spin rate, landing angle, and club . . .
