So much has been written about the path of the clubhead in space. We can attack the ball steep, shallow, inside to out, outside to in, etc. But most golfers and teachers overlook how crucial the path of the club's handle or butt end in space is.
The path of the handle has an enormous effect on the way the clubhead responds going into impact. I estimate bad handle path is what causes 90% of all slices.
When the handle path is good, the club face squares up almost automatically at impact. Hitting draw feels like a soft nudge . . .
