Lesson 31 – Footwork: Right Foot Action

The right foot plays a crucial role on how everything else in your pivot will function.  The right motion serves to position the right knee, hip, and shoulder so that the wheel turns on a precise and correct axis.

I work with many of my students on right foot action all the time.  You should be working hard on it too.

The best way to practice will be at home on the wall without a club or ball.  Just you and your foot.  Practice your compound pivot slowly - and as you come through to the front foot, let the ankle . . .
