While the little swings you see don't seem like much, you will never build a powerful and accurate motion without nailing this motion. We are combining the compound pivot with the beginning of the arc and plane.
This is our ground floor. I've had tremendous success with students getting them really good at this motion before moving on. Your swing will easily scale from here without losing accuracy or quality of contact.
