Lesson 46 – Controlling Trajectory:  High Shots

It is fairly straightforward to increase the trajectory of a shot.  At impact, we must have more loft, and less forward lean on the shaft.

Playing the ball more forward in the stance is a good start.  You may also add a little more side tilt at address if needed - this gives a bit of a feeling of hitting up.

Your lie will dictate how high of a shot you can hit.  A closely mown area will be more difficult, as will heavy rough.  A first cut type of rough will allow the highest shots.
